NORTH ALABAMA

County Line Flower Farm- Kennedy

County Line Flower Farm will open for U-pick in late July or early August, depending on blooms. U-pick flower tickets include floral snips and glass jars to pick flowers. Pick flowers to brighten your kitchen counter or just take a break from life’s busy ways and smell some sweet flowers. Prefer to just visit to take photos and enjoy the atmosphere? The Flowering Farmhouse- Moulton

FrogToe Family Farm- Waterloo

Moonflower Farms- Fort Payne

Wander the flower rows at Moonflower Farms and pick your perfect bouquet! They grow beautiful summer annuals, host flower arranging workshops and other special events. They also offer photography opportunities. U-pick begins July 5.

CENTRAL ALABAMA

Flowers to Bless- Camp Hill

Flowers to Bless U-pick is by appointment only. Consumers should RSVP through Facebook to reserve their spot for picking. They offer a variety of specialty flowers that are all grown sustainably and fresh on their family’s farm.

Handey's Farm & Nursery- Montgomery

Head out to Handey's Farm & Nursery, located right off I-85 in between Montgomery and Auburn, to pick some fresh sunflowers and zinnias. Whether you cut them for yourself of give them as a gift, fresh cut flowers are always a treasure. Flowers are priced by the stem or by the vase.

SOUTH ALABAMA

Petaluma Gardens- Opp

Book your U-pick flower appointment at Petaluma Gardens to enjoy local goodness in your home. For $20, the farm provides a bucket and snips to borrow so you can cut up to 40 stems — easily enough for two beautiful arrangements in your home. Pleasant Pastures- Andalusia

Pleasant Pastures offers U-pick sunflowers and zinnias Thursday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Sunflowers are $1 per stem and zinnias are $5 per cup. As you stroll the field collecting your own fresh cut flowers, don’t forget to snap those pictures to capture the memory. Bring the kiddos to enjoy zip lines, slides and more fun activities as well.
